Effective Mineral Sun Protection for your Point Reyes Getaway

Even on foggy days, you're going to get a lot of UV rays. Here are some top mineral sunscreens to help you avoid dangerous chemicals as well as overexposure to the sun.

There's nothing as grounding and healing as nature. ⠀

The park is open. Let's take it slowly. Thoughtfully. ⠀

These trails remain closed: Mesa Road from the Commonweal entrance to Palomarin Trailhead, Chimney Rock Road, Mount Vision Road, South Beach Access Road, Sir Francis Drake Blvd. southwest of its junction with Drakes Beach Road.⠀

Remember to keep two meters (six feet) of space between you and other people who aren’t part of your own household.⠀

Bring a mask to wear if you need to be closer than 6 feet from others, and if you are going to restaurants or stores in town. ⠀

One person at a time will be allowed in restrooms.⠀

Bear Valley loop trails will be limited to one way traffic.⠀
Campgrounds, visitor centers, and picnic tables remain closed.⠀

Water fountains are not available, so be sure to bring plenty of water with you.⠀

Be sure to bring your own hand sanitzer.⠀
