Sketch along the trail in pen or pencil, then learn to add watercolor.

Finish the day with a journal full of Pt Reyes scenes!

Joan will meet participants at the Five Brooks Trailhead and demonstrate and discuss how to make a quick journal sketch. Beginner or advanced participants welcome! No experience necessary.

Then you will disperse and walk on the trail and stop to make journal sketches in pen or pencil. Joan will work with you individually on your journal drawings. You will picnic for lunch. After lunch all will meet back at the Trailhead and cars to paint in the journals with watercolor.

Joan will demonstrates watercolors and how to use them in a journal. These small quick sketches and a bit of color will be your memory of Pt Reyes! She gives insightful critiques throughout the day.
