Western Weekend

June 1 @ 9:00 am - June 2 @ 9:00 pm

Western Weekend parade of horses on Main Street.

Parade and Festivities in downtown Point Reyes Station

Western Weekend in downtown Point Reyes Station is an annual community event featuring a parade, a rodeo, live music, a Western dance, and other activities that celebrate the area’s agricultural heritage and culture.

Watch locals show off their prize animals at a livestock show, enjoy arts and crafts vendors, food booths, and more. There are also activities for kids, such as a petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting.

Various events and festivities happen on Saturday and the parade takes place Sunday at noon — something to make note of even if you’re not planning to attend, since Main Street in downtown Point Reyes will be closed to traffic for the parade.

Saturday, starting at 10am: Look for events at Toby’s Feed barn, including 4-H and Future Farmers displays.
Saturday night 6-9: Barn Dance at Dance Palace Community Center (fantastic live music, you won’t want to miss this!) It’s free, but please consider donations for the incredibly talented musicians.

Dance your cares away to the music of Erik Hoffman and the fiddling band of Ingrid Noyes and Friends.

Sunday noon: The parade starts and runs down Main Street
After the parade, there will be bbq chicken, homemade desserts, tacos and a chili cook-off.
