So, Olema…wait, I thought we were going to Point Reyes?

The tiny village of Olema is an undiscovered gem of fabulous places to stay when visiting Point Reyes. And Olema Cottages is a find. The location can’t be beat, and the cottages offer a knockout mix of privacy, comfort and charm that should cost more, but doesn’t. The cool kids book here, and so do the smart cookies!

Space. We love it. And privacy, too.

Throw in some amazing country views and being so close to everything you love about Point Reyes, and you can see why scoring your own cottage here is a no brainer for a relaxing weekend or a more substantial break.

From this peaceful country hideaway you can walk (minutes, I swear) to two amazing restaurants. You’re half a mile from the entrance to Point Reyes National Seashore park. And all the good stuff in Point Reyes Station is a five minute drive up the road.

The cottages are so comfortable. You won’t want to get out of your giant comfy bed, but when you do, it’ll dawn on you…the feeling that you’ve got the place to yourself.

You can wake up at noon, drink your coffee out on your patio in your PJs. The only ones likely to be staring at you are the horses grazing in the neighbor’s pasture…and they don’t care.

And you really weren’t expecting this, but there is an amazing outdoor sculpture garden on the grounds.

The three cottages are tucked away in different corners of the property and have their own private yards with patio furniture and BBQ. The two guest suites in the renovated 1892 farmhouse have their own private entry, private deck and no shared walls.

Fully Equipped

The stuff you need to feel at home? All there. WiFi, speakers for your tunes, tools to make an awesome meal, super comfy beds and high end linens, CDs and books, DVDs, beach towels. You know…the goods. It’s really easy to just settle in and enjoy yourself.

You’ll be nestled in a green and blooming country acre, overlooking horses in the neighbor’s pasture, iconic West Marin countryside views and the majestic Inverness Ridge. It’s quiet and peaceful — the perfect spot to relax, renew your creativity and make amazing memories.
