No doilies or country kitsch here. Just unmatched comfort, quiet and amazing views. This jewel is set on four sunny acres, a minute’s drive from all the dining and window shopping of Point Reyes Station’s charming Main Street. Yet you feel like you’ve landed in the very heart of the iconic West Marin countryside, with rolling hills, orchards and the wide open sky as a backdrop for your romantic getaway.

Every room has its own private patio or balcony, and some rooms have two — one facing the sunrise and the other, the sunset. There’s plenty of space if you want to ensconce yourself in your room, and who would blame you? But there’s also an irresistibly inviting great room, sunlit by windows and skylights in the daytime and warmed by a fire on chilly nights. There’s also a huge common deck with sweeping views.

The rooms are carefully designed and furnished for comfort, and include many thoughtfully executed details that leave you feeling the way vacations should…like life is good.

Insider Tip: Room 6 has its own separate entry, a large open deck and skylights in a vaulted ceiling. It’s set apart from the main house and feels like its own private bungalow.

Enjoy an afternoon port in the great room, and browse the extensive and wide ranging library. On chilly nights you can gather around the fireplace for a glass of wine before heading off to the privacy of your room.

French doors open onto a large patio with wide open countryside views, perfect for coffee on summer mornings, or lounging in the afternoon after a day of exploring.

Insider Tip: Room 4 is huge, has two private balconies facing sunrise and sunset — and a super-luxe bathroom with heated floors. You’ll feel like you’re in you own separate wing of the Inn.
