Station House Cafe in downtown Point Reyes Station is a local favorite for everything from hearty breakfasts to decadent burgers + fries to luscious thick-cut pork chops and fresh seafood.
The menu is varied, seasonal and locally sourced: a refined, West Marin take on farm-to-table comfort food.
Breakfast: Grits & Greens
Point Reyes Toma, braised greens, green onion (I like to add a poached egg)
Lunch: Point Reyes Mac & Cheese
Point Reyes Toma cheese, herb breadbrumbs, green onions (definitely add bacon)
Lunch: Steelhead Salad
pan seared salmon, hazelnut butter, watercress, frisee, breadcrumbs, white balsamic vinaigrette
Dinner: Cove Mussels
white wine, tomato saffron broth, garden herbs, grilled rustic bread
Dinner: Roasted Pork Chop
maple apple cider reduction, spicy cabbage slaw, celery root pureE
One of the things locals and visitors love about Station House Cafe is the beautiful garden patio—easily the most gorgeous outdoor seating in Point Reyes. Citrus trees, rose trellises, herbs and flowers set among graceful gazebos and a fountain create a very romantic spot to enjoy weekend brunch or dinner on a warm summer night.
Station House Cafe has a full bar adjacent the restaurant with your favorite drinks, tasty bar bites and a relaxed atmosphere. We all end up here at some point to grab a drink and some oysters, meet up with friends or to catch the fantastic local bands that play here on Sunday nights.
